He plays in the 1st Division as a senior player in the position of Central Defender in Rwanda’s National team and local club called APR (Armée Patriotique Rwandaise/Rwandese Patriotic Army F.C.).

1. What inspired you to play soccer ? It was his dream to play soccer since he was a child and the ministry inspired him because as they were preaching they were also trained in soccer skills.

2. How did you get to know about the ministry ? He got to know the ministry during his early age in 2008 as he stayed in the same neighbourhood where the ministry was taking place. He got so much interested in joining them as he was attracted to the preaching of the Gospel.

3. How did the ministry impact your life ? He said that the ministry had a big impact, because the ministry was providing materials for example t-shirts to wear and shoes, but the biggest impact was that the ministry taught him about God, which was a very huge impact to his life that up to now he owes his living to the ministry and testifies to other teams what God has done in his life. He even said that “if it wasn’t the ministry he wouldn’t know anything about soccer and about God”.

4. What is your future dream ? He only has one dream and that is to become number one player in the world and to play abroad (outside of Africa).

5. What can you tell people about this ministry ? He said that “It is a good ministry, because it is a Christian based ministry, not only preaching the gospel, but also helping the young ones to get themselves out of bad habits like drug abuse, such as smoking weed, drinking alcohol.” In addition he said that it is this ministry that he considers as a “parent”. And he is thanking the ministry for his career.
